West Village Greek restaurant Nisi already has some big expansion plans. Mike Himani has partnered up with Mark Wood, a former CEO of juice chain Liquiteria, to open at least three more locations of the Bleecker Street spot in New York City — plus outposts in Miami and Los Angeles.

The first new outpost will be in a bi-level location in the west 40s, with 150 seats and an upstairs lounge. Like the original, the location will offer seafood by the pound. It’s expected to open early 2018. Nisi here will have a big seafood bar, with people making seafood salads from across the Mediterranean, Wood says.

"After that, we will open Miami, L.A. and then two more in New York,'' Wood says.

Wood left the local restaurant industry in 2010 to work at chains like Blue Print Cleanse and Liquiteria. Before he worked with the juice chains, he partnered with people like vegan celebrity chef Matthew Kenney and Lure Fishbar restaurateur John McDonald. Nisi is one of his projects as he gets back into the restaurant game.

Nisi’s first location, 302 Bleecker Street, serves a menu of salads, meze, lamb, and seafood, including grilled branzino. It first opened last fall, with food from chef Nikola Karvelas.
