New Columbia Records CEO & Chairman Ron Perry got a warm welcome from his starry roster for his first month on the job as well as a celebration to kick off Grammys weekend.

Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson, Remy Ma, Rachel Platten, Bebe Rexha, Diplo, , Haim, DJ Cassidy, Lorde, Parson James and Q-Tip all came out to fête Perry on his birthday Wednesday night at Catch.

“Several celebs dropped in, and all the artists were hanging with Ron. They all went right over to him and there were lots of hugs,” a spy told us. Perry even had a dancing Chewbacca entertaining guests at the soiree.

“It was hilarious and unexpected. Everyone got a kick out of it. The Haim girls were dancing. Lorde was busy chatting up Remy and Rachel Platten,” a spy said.

Servers later brought out a birthday cake of Chewbacca’s head wearing a New York Mets baseball cap.

It seems the label’s former CEO, Rob Stringer, was a New York Yankees fan.

Hip-hop artist Remy Ma had also hosted a private dinner at Spring & Varick that night to celebrate her new female anthem, “Melanin Magic,” before heading over to Catch to party it up with her new boss.
